Moving with the times
It is now April 2008 and I am delighted to report that significant progress has been made to our overall relocation plans.
These changes involved the re-location of Mazda, Skoda and Peugeot in Colchester, thus enabling us to provide our customers a better service. One problem we recognised was the car parking space and we are looking to re-locate both delivery, storage and preparation of all new vehicles off-site, making it easier to park.
The relocation of the Mazda Sales showroom from Severalls Lane to share the Vauxhall dealership on Scotts Corner is now complete (January) and we have enjoyed our most successful sales quarter to date, despite difficult trading conditions.
We are delighted to announce the Peugeot move from Wimpole Road, Colchester to Severalls Lane is now also complete (April). This is a new facility offering our customers improved services and better surroundings.
Our Sudbury dealership celebrated the refurbishment of the Vauxhall dealership (including the petrol forecourt and shop) in late February with a hugely successful Event weekend.
We have the task of relocating Skoda to other buildings within the Severalls Lane complex, which we hope to achieve before the end of the year.
